v 1.03 - Post jam / final update
Sempiternal » Devlog
After the jam submission, and during the rating period, I continued to work on this game. I finished v 1.02 (which was mainly adding audio) and was planning on ending development there. However, due to the lovely feedback from other players in the jam, I decided to pick it back up again to work on the gameplay, along with a few final changes.
These new features include:
- More audio, including ambient background sounds, mouse clicking and computer beeps. (This was added in v 1.02).
- Scene select screen.
- Better written endings.
- New minigame, replacing half of the original terminals. (Now 3 games of each).
- many quality of life changes and extra optional dialogues.
- Downloadable versions for Windows and Mac.
Note: the original jam submission (v 1.0) is available for download for Windows and Mac. Although the version playable during the jam was the web build, they are identical.
Thank you for playing Sempiternal! This was my first game jam and I'm so glad I decided to join, I'll definitely be doing more in the future, it was a lot of fun!
